How to set up the Virt
The Virt Camera comes with a comprehensive user manual in its box that gives all the necessary steps in the setup process. It can be installed above the centre of the board by directly screwing into the wall or using an attachment in Target’s MOD set-up. The camera is powered by a USB-A connection requiring a suitable adapter to plug into a wall power outlet. Alternatively, it can be connected to the MOD hub that is already connected to the wall. Once installed, connection to the DartCounter App is quick and efficient to begin using the Virt online.
When installing without the MOD, it is optimal for the power outlet to be directly under the dartboard due to the position of the camera and length of the cable. An extension cable may be required if the power outlet is too far away from the board or by purchasing a longer USB-A to USB-C cable to fit your set-up.
DartCounter App
The Virt camera exclusively connects to Target’s DartCounter App allowing users to play real-time online games against opponents. All Virt Cameras come with 3-months of DartCounter ultimate membership subscription for free, which enables you to play unlimited online games. The ultimate subscription also offers extended detailed statistics through the app and website.
A strong Wi-Fi connection is required for the system to work when playing with friends or competitors from around the world. The lobby matchmaking system displays player averages to ensure a fair and competitive matchmaking experience when entering online games.
